It’s been a while Philosophical Parents. I hope that you’re managing to cope in light of the chaos that plagues our world. Fires, hurricanes, civil unrest, mental health crises, ethnic cleansing, etc., can make parenting day-to-day difficult and distressing.
I’ve been writing about parenting for about two decades now; I started researching, creating and having my articles and blog posts published in magazines, newspapers, and web sites around the same time that my first child was born.
Now, as my children reach young adulthood, I find I’m not drawn to writing about parenthood and family. Of course, I am and will always be a parent, and topics such as ADHD, neurodiversity, children’s mental health, and bullying still pique my interest. However, I can’t promise that I’ll be able to keep up with new information on these topics or with this Substack on a regular basis.
As such, for now, I’m putting this particular Substack channel to sleep. It may be re-born as something new in the future. However, if you’re a Highly Sensitive Person and/or interested in freelancing, self-employment, or writing, feel free to subscribe to my other Substack: Secrets from an HSP Copywriter.
Until we meet again, Philosophical Parent — stay real.
